Commonwealth Games Village wins the accolade at the EPC World Awards 2014

The Commonwealth Games Village – Residential project, developed by India’s leading real estate company Emaar MGF, was conferred the prestigious EPC World Award today for ‘Outstanding Contribution in Green Building Project- Real Estate Category’. The project received the award during the 5th EPC World Awards 2014 held at The Ashok, New Delhi. Shri Sanjay Malhotra, Chief Financial Officer, Emaar MGF Land Ltd. accepted the prestigious award on Company’s behalf from Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State of Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) & Civil Aviation and Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Minister of State for Steel & Mining, Government of India.

The EPC World Awards is one of the most cherished industry recognition awards in India for acknowledging achievements and stimulating efficiency across the entire spectrum of Infrastructure, Energy, EPC and Construction industries.

Sportspersons as well as officials around the world have considered it far ahead of the accommodation facilities provided for London Olympics held in 2012 and the Commonwealth Games 2014 held in Glasgow.

The project has also received the prestigious Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) award in 2012.
