Delhi-NCR, April 19, 2018: Hundreds of homebuyers of Antriksh Sanskriti group housing project, located near Hindon river next to Indirapuram along NH-24, took out a march to Vijay Nagar Police Station of district Ghaziabad to register a Group FIR against the Builder Antriksh Realtech Pvt Ltd for its failure to offer possession of flats even after eight (08) years.

Six representatives of aggrieved homebuyers including their advocate were allowed to meet the SHO and other police officials present at the Vijay Nagar police station. They apprised the police of acute mental trauma and financial hardship that they are undergoing due to the inordinate delay in the possession in the project which has now been sealed due to non-payment of developmental charges to the tune of Rs 42 crore to the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA).

The homebuyers demanded strict action under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Antriksh Realtech Pvt Ltd because as per the Builder Buyer Agreement signed with Antriksh Builder, the project’s land was mentioned as freehold, and allotted by GDA while later on the buyers came to know that land is owned by Raksha Vigyan Karamchari Sahkari Awas Samiti(RVS) with which Antriksh Group has entered into a collaboration for developing this group housing project. The buyers pointed out booking flats without ownership of the land and not completing the construction even after eight years amounts to wilful concealment of facts and breach of Builder-Buyer Agreement on the part of Antriksh Group.

The police officers listened to the complaint of homebuyers and assured them to take action on it after due instructions are received from the SSPoffice. It is pertinent to mention here that on 11th April 2018, the Antriksh buyers’ representatives had met SSP Mr Vaibhav Krishna and he had assured them to forward their complaint to SHO, Vijay Nagar Police Station for initiating investigation in the said case. If the Vijay Nagar police does not receive the SSP’s instructions to register FIR against the Builder, Antriksh Sanskriti Welfare Association (ASWA) will meet the SSP again to urge him to ensure registration of FIR against the fraudulent Builder.
