An enterprising entrepreneur, a futuristic engineer and an accomplished real estate developer, Sunil Kumar V, 44 years, was born at N. Paravoor, Ernakulam, kerala. He took Degree in Civil Engineering from Government Engineering College, Trichur and Post Graduation in Real Estate Management from IIM, Bangalore. He demonstrated leadership traits even when he was young and at college. He was the college union chairman and general secretary of govt engineering college trichur. He is married to Jayalatha and is blessed with twins, a son and a daughter, named Saranya and Sraavan. A voracious reader, speaker par excellence and a man with social and ecological perspective to his persona, he is most distinctive among the leaders for future.
He is the Founder and Managing Director of Asset Homes Pvt. Ltd, one of the most trusted, awarded iconic brands in Kerala realty. With more than 21 years experience, he has successfully promoted more than 65 residential projects in Kerala. Asset Homes notched up ranking among the most trusted, awarded real estate brand of Kerala within a short span of 7 years.
He started career with IHRDE and went on to work with Cochin Refineries and M/s SURBACON Developers, Bangalore. In 1994 he started his entrepreneurial life with his first organization named M/s SANTHI HOMES. Under his leadership Santhi Homes developed 12 residential projects in Kochi. In 2007, he founded Asset Homes Pvt. Ltd., which went on to deliver 36 residential projects across Kerala in a short span of 7 years. He was a finalist to the sree sree ravisankar award for young entrepreneur of Kerala. ASSET HOMES has been awarded the Realty Plus Excellence Award 2010, the Rotary Vocational Excellence Award 2010, CRISIL CREDAI REAL ESTATE NATIONAL AWARD 2011, BLOOMBERG TV- New York Times – Google INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AWARD and CREDAI Real Estate Award 2012. Asset homes is the only builder in India to receive 3 CRISIL 7 star ratings for their projects. Very recently he has been awarded the Young entrepreneur of the year award instituted by KMCC Dubai,DC books and sahridaya Vedi
Sunil Kumar is also the co-promoter of ASSET SUMMIT SUITES; an Apartment Hotel at Cochin and ZING; a Life Style Shop for Home Interiors.He is the Executive Member, Joint Secretary & Chairman of Exhibition Committee of CREDAI, consulting Engineer with various organizations, an active member of KMA, ACE, Institution of Engineers & Asia Pacific Institute of Soil Bio Engineering, an active Rotarian and former President of Rotary Club of Cochin North. A great exponent of Green concepts and energy conservation projects, he is among the ‘new breed of entrepreneurs of future’. Awareness generation workshops, transformation of the Children’s Park at the Kochi Naval Base into a solar lit park, joint promotions with Kerala Plumbers Association to promote water conservation are some of his contributions to the society.
