Bangalore, August 05, 2021: Coworking major 315Work Avenue has announced leasing of around 35,000 sqft of office space in Pune as part of its plan to expand its footprint in the country and mark its foray into Pune market. The new lease reaffirms the company’s assessment that there would be consistent, high demand for flexible workspaces in the post pandemic context. This premium office space has been leased in the prominent area of Baner in Pune, which is witnessing skyrocketing commercial growth. The company is planning to set up 700 plus seats in this space. The new facility would come with all modern amenities and reflect minimalism that would be appealing to clients. The expansion comes at a time when larger enterprises and corporates are seeing merit in setting up satellite offices across multiple locations to help people work nearer home and to enable a distributed workspace model.

Pune is Maharashtra’s second biggest city and has seen some spectacular industrial growth in recent years, which has boosted demand for coworking spaces. The city is known for manufacturing, automobile, government and private sector companies with strong presence of the information technology segment. All of these factors, in combination with on-going large scale infrastructure upgrades, have made Pune an attractive place for investment.

315Work Avenue currently manages around 20,000 seats spread over 1 million sqft office space across 20 centres located in prime business hubs in Bangalore, Mumbai & Pune. The company also plans to add another 5 lakh sqft office space in next 1 year. 315Work Avenue is in final stages of discussion over signing up of another work space in Hyderabad too. The company offers a variety of services and spaces like enterprise offices, co-working desks, private offices, meeting rooms and virtual offices to corporates, mid-size enterprises, small teams, start-ups and entrepreneurs depending on the needs of its users.

Commenting on the new development, Mr. Manas Mehrotra, Founder, 315Work Avenue said: “The pandemic has highlighted the importance of de-densification of office space and adoption of hub and spoke model. In the wake of the pandemic, companies, especially large enterprises and multinationals are opting for flexible workspaces and reconsidering fixed asset investments in order to remain agile and retain flexibility to adjust operations based on market conditions and recognise the inherent value offered by the flexible workspace model. 315Work Avenue has already achieved a phenomenal growth in the short period and Pune will be an extremely strong market for us to strengthen our foot print and play an integral role in our overall growth journey. The launch of this centre will inch us closer to our target of 30,000 seats in the next 1 year.”

“With prime locations, custom crafted design & space, technology, international standards of health & safety and community building as our key drivers, we are confident that our work spaces has an edge over the others in the industry and we are committed to revolutionizing the coworking industry” added Manas.
