Commenting on the occasion, Mr Akshit Mehta, Founder, Vorq Space, added “There is a huge potential in South Mumbai market as the overall market research states that in the recent months, numbers of home-grown start-ups and entrepreneurs from South Mumbai has exponentially increased. The exponential growth of Co-Working Spaces in Mumbai means that the world is adapting to changes in the way of work. Vorq Space is extremely excited to venture into Kala Goda, which currently is in need of such work setups, considering the increasing numbers of entrepreneurs from such areas and localities.”

“This is the age of entrepreneurs and freelancers. Individuals with an active imagination are reimagining the world. While they do that, we at Vorq Space, are reimagining their workspaces. Vorq Space is here to create co-working spaces designed to bring together diverse ideas, skills, people under one roof. Giving them the flexibility they need while they go in pursuit of their dreams. Thus creating a unique work space that becomes a versatile ground for creativity and collaboration.” Further added Mr Mehta.

Co-working is a movement that is not only teaching people to work together, but to think, interact create together. It is laying down principles on how people would interact with each other, embalming a sense of community as well as shared economy. This movement is about to grow larger as we move from an industrial economy to a knowledge based one. Over the next few years, the sector will see an increasing demand for coworking spaces from larger businesses, as corporate occupiers embrace a more dynamic coworking culture or shorter and lower-risk leases.

From the looks of it, Coworking is powerful enough that Vorq Space does not see it as a dying industry. It is here to stay and to set a base for the future of work.
