Aesthetics of space utilization, little comfort zones and behavioral patterns influenced by design and architecture are a few of the yearning reasons why people always covet for their own space—even if they are housed in the most luxurious and hospitable properties. The architecture and design make a unique experience for every individual.
Architects play an important role as they not only have to follow the thoughts and vision expressed by the clients but also must imbibe the science of space while keeping color and vibrancy intact in their creation. Thus, the aesthetic of a design will influence how people think and feel or how much they derive from the space.
As propounded by the renowned German American architect Ludwig MiesVan Der Rohe, also revered as a pioneer of modern architecture, “We should attempt to bring nature, houses and human beings together in a higher unity” amplifies the fact that surroundings can have a huge impact on the creativity and productivity of an individual.
Elements like comfort, ambience and lighting are of paramount importance in each space which can uplift the mood and energy of the users. Details in patterns, colors, natural light, ceiling heights, public spaces, and isolated corners all become important tick marks for the comfort of the occupier.
Creativity originates from inspiration but needs seclusion for the unique ideation—this two-pronged paradigm needs segregation of spaces by functional roles, spatial planning and ideas that encourage team building and collaborative work approach while protecting the privacy of the entrepreneurs.
Today’s architect also need to keep in mind the technological interventions in the creative space, right from the basic design software to production are all empowered with precision, speed and fluidity in space design, so that the client can experience it even before the construction takes place. The design and architecture industry is at a point where services like automation, lighting, communication and acoustics are of utmost importance for any interior/architectural project.
Thus, it is important that the aesthetics of designing does not get burdened with themes, but rather showcases the creativity of the architect.
