Prateek Group announced the opening up of ‘Training and Assessment of Construction Workers’ at Prateek Construction Skill Training Institute, under the banner of Prateek Foundation ‘Aakaar’ at Prateek Grand City, Siddharth Vihar. The step for the construction workers is taken under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). It is a joint initiative by Prateek Foundation ‘Aakaar’ and Kaushal Vridhi Kendra.
Inaugurating the initiative Mr. Prashant Tiwari, Chairman, Prateek Group, said, “The yojana is a unique initiative by the government aiming to offer 24 lakh Indian youth meaningful, industry relevant, skill based training. Under this scheme, the trainees are offered a financial reward and a government certification on successful completion of training and assessment, which will help them in securing a job for a better future. By organising this initiative here it is our genuine effort to contribute to this noble cause where we can have skilled labourer and also help them get good rewards for their hard work.”
Prateek Construction Skill Training Institute is a certified training centre for PMKVY. “It is our effort to enable and mobilize a large number of youth to take up skill training and become employable and earn their livelihood. The PMKVY will definitely increase productivity of the workforce and align the training and certification to the needs of the real estate sector and country in general.”, Mr. Tiwari adds.
After the completion of assessment, the trainees will get a certificate as well as a monetary reward. Monetary reward for various job roles within a sector varies as per job role levels. The monetary reward will be wholly funded by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. CCI Newswire
