The new feature provides instant alerts to fans when events by the artists the follow go live, access to exclusive content by them, special offers, merchandise and more.

Mumbai, November 19, 2017: Experiences platform,Insider.in, has released a new product feature, ‘Follow’. The feature addresses one of the biggest challenges in event ticketing, creating relevant and loyal communities.

The ‘Follow’ feature in the first phase of roll-out has been initiated for select artists only including the country’s leading comedians, Abish Mathew, AIB (All India Bakchod), Biswa Kalyan Rath, Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastian, and Zakir Khan. Fans select artists they wish to follow and receive instant notifications via e-mail when a new show goes live on Insider.in. As more fans join the community, the feature can be used to communicate special offers on tickets, merchandise and content. The process has been kept simple and the end proposition exciting for fans waiting to see what’s next.

“Like several other things on Insider.in, this feature was built on the back of organiser and fan feedback.”, says Shreyas Srinivasan, CEO, Insider.in. “We routinely encourage a data driven approach to event ticketing and with this, artists can now plan future events going to where their communities are. The intent is to make this work hard to help identify new markets and projected capacities in these places. The range of information available through this can also help organisers program shows depending on artist popularity and affect pricing decisions based on location and demographics.”

Insider.in regularly tickets events from some of the most popular comedy and music acts in the country – including AIB (2014, 2015, 2016), Kanan Gill (2017), Biswa Kalyan Rath (2017), EIC (2016, 2017), Nucleya (2015, 2016, 2017), as well as large-scale live properties such as Bacardi NH7 Weekender, EDC India, The Coalition, and more.  It intends to extend the ‘Follow’ feature to more artists, venues and live properties creating fan clubs and custom solutions for these entities.
