Bangalore, April 24, 2014: HSIL Limited, a recognised name in the sanitaryware industry and a reputed player in the bathroom products category, appointed Mr. Sushil Luniya as President (Marketing & Sales). He comes on board with an extensive 26 years of valuable experience in Marketing, Sales & Retail and will be responsible for heading the Building Products Division of HSIL Limited.
Mr. Luniya, began his career back in 1987 as Brand Manager with Asian Paints where he spent 13 years and left in 2000 as General Manager, Sales. Thereafter he held leadership roles at Apollo Tyres and Sify Lyd. At Sify, Mr. Luniya established the ILD/NLD business for Sify which continues to be amongst the highest revenue earner for the company till date. His last held position, before coming on board, HSIL was with Pidilite. As President India, (Construction Chemicals Division), Pidilite, his achievement speaks volume as the Waterproofing business under ‘Dr Fixit brand’ became a clear market leader with a CAGR of about 35% over 4 years.
