Housing.com and Habitat for Humanity India come together to build homes for underprivileged families in Delhi

New Delhi, February 03, 2019: With a view to building strength, stability and self-reliance among people, Housing.com, India’s most innovative real estate platform has partnered with Habitat for Humanity India to build affordable homes for families in need of respectable shelter. As a start to the partnership, employees from Housing.com provided their sweat equity to build homes for four families in JJ Colony, Bawana in Delhi.

Anchored by the conviction that housing provides a critical foundation for families to build a better future for themselves, while contributing towards their financial and social stability, Habitat for Humanity India has been working with low-income, marginalised families to build homes and sanitation units across India. Within 35 years of service in the country, Habitat India has been able to benefit more than 3.8 lakh families across India. As a part of the partnership, Housing.com, will leverage its social channels to raise awareness and promote the work done by Habitat India in building shelter for families that lack adequate housing.
