The idea was to create the structure for the ongoing social responsibility initiatives of the company. Registered under the laws of India as a charitable organization, under the direct patronage of Mr. K. P. Singh, the Chairman of the DLF Group, DLF Foundation runs with the mission to empower the communities and create livelihood opportunities for the underprivileged with a multi-faceted approach towards their education, health and skill development. While the other arms of the company have created self sustainedecosystems with best of residential, commercial and entertainment spaces across the country, DLF Foundation has taken rural education, training, health and environmental initiatives since its incorporation, and it looks forward to creating new innovative precedents in areas of rural education, health, and labor care.

With the onset of DLF Golf Exellence program, DLF Foundation and DLF Golf academy aims to help talented golfers to realize their true potential. The program has selected 10 junior boys and girls in the age group of 12-18 years, providing them with precise training in Golf and fitness. Under the guidance of highly acclaimed professionals with the latest golf teaching technology, the students of DLF Golf Excellence program are playing outstandingly and bringing laurels to the country.

Nurturing Excellence’, is another flagship initiative of DLF Foundation, which aims to give access to quality education to talented underprivileged students. These students are selected on the basis of merit and family income. DLF Foundation also provides them with the much-needed coaching, counseling, mentoring and soft skills training and awards the high achievers. The ultimate aim is to transform, particularly, the girl students and groom them as new generation leaders by honing their intellect and social/soft skills in multi-dimensional ways. The organization supports over 1200 brilliant underprivileged students, including 944 school scholars and 256 professional scholars.

Further, a health initiative by DLF Foundation, CGS hospital is a state of the art veterinary hospital situated in DLF Phase 3, Gurugram. CGS Hospital extends over a large area of more than one acre. Services like diagnostic endoscopy, laparoscopy, echocardiography, and minimally invasive orthopedic surgery are provided by it. It advances its treatment to stray dogs and cats as well. The hospital has patients coming from various far-off cities like Patna, Indore, Assam and even South India. CGS Hospital on average treats around 100-150 patients in a day and 5-6 surgeries are performed by the hospital day after day. It offers endoscopy, laparoscopy, echo-cardiography and minimally invasive orthopedic surgery. With 24 hour service, the hospital also gives emergency services from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. It advances its treatment to stray dogs and cats as well. The hospital has patients coming from various far-off cities like Patna, Indore, Assam and even South India. It also owns a boarding facility for canines and felines, grooming services, a functioning pet shop, in-house pharmacy, and a dedicated microbiology and pathology laboratory. The hospital is also equipped with a separate OPD for cats. A window clinic of the hospital is functional at Paras downtown centre on the golf course road.
