New Delhi, March 21, 2019: Clean lines, functional spaces, eclectic artefacts and art pieces, cozy, vintage feel and an energetic bunch of people, is what greets you when you step into Columbia Pacific Communities’ sprawling 10,000 sq feet office in a leafy lane of Bangalore’s Indiranagar. Columbia Pacific Communities is committed to build India’s first International Standard Senior Living Community and is also the largest and most experienced senior living community operator in the country, with 1600 residences across 5 cities and 9 locations in South India. This office houses the company headquarters and is a reflection of the brand that they are set out to build in India.

Columbia Pacific Community has successfully created a workspace that helps the employees inhabit the world of their ideal customer. This office was once a home and continues to be. The office sports a relaxed and homely feel with saturated and vibrant colours livening up each floor, antique furniture and decor reflecting old-world-charm and plenty of open spaces and allowing natural light to light up the office. The office building is strategically located on one of the by-lanes making it peaceful and serene.

One is greeted with the codes of FUN, NOSTALGIA AND THE GOOD LIFE, at every corner of the office. Be it the vintage telephone set, the wooden toy showpieces, a set of tin toys or the images displayed on the walls- everything in the office is a conversation starter! The office also has a huge collection and variety of books, making it a mini-library of sorts. The book collection consists of handpicked coffee table books such as Ogilvy on Advertising; Raghu Rai’s Picturing Time, Pop Art by Tilman Osterworld, Charles Bukowski and is placed in all 3 floors of the swanky office. The art that adorns the office space celebrates those that the company aim to serve, viz, Trailblazers. Outliers. Style icons. Merry makers. Adventure seekers. Role models. Needle movers.

Speaking fondly about the new office space, Mohit Nirula, Chief Executive Officer, Columbia Pacific Community, says, “Columbia Pacific Communities was conceptualised with the aim of reimagining the concept of senior living in India. Everyday innovation and the zeal to do things differently is what drive us. Our office space is a reflection of the same principles. We have designed our office to look and feel like a home that exudes the same warmth which we hope to offer our customers through our curated senior living communities. I am rather proud to share that we have done almost all of the designing and decor in-house taking ideas and cues from the team. We have set lofty targets for ourselves, and with the business growing, I am eager to see the country’s best minds here to collaborate and innovate every day.”

  • Demonstrating culture: Designed on the lines of an open plan office, this new work area speaks of a strong organizational culture which encourages free thinking and expression
  • Comfort while working: Open work desks are placed on the work floor, which is also bordered by meeting rooms. The living-room style meet-up areas or the sunny terrace make for an  indulgent work-spaces with a view of the surrounding greenery
