New Delhi June 2013: Tata Housing, India's fastest growing real estate development company, has signed a MoU with the National Safety Council of India (NSC) to create awareness and promote the cause of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) in the Indian real estate industry. This agreement represents Tata Housing's persistent efforts to make EHS rules and regulations a priority for the real estate industry.


The MOU was signed between Mr. Brotin Banerjee, MD & CEO Tata Housing and Mr. V. B. Sant, Director General - the National Safety Council of India. The key objective of the MoU will include streamlining exchange of technical expertise between two organizations and to collaboratively work towards making EHS a norm for the real estate industry.

Govt to award Rs150,000 crore projects in the next 6 months

New Delhi June 29: To bring the economy back on the growth path, projects worth Rs 150,000 crore will be awarded in the next six months, based on projects identified by the Prime Minister’s Office in consultation with the Planning Commission.

These are spread across sectors such as railways, expressways, ports, airport and power & transmission.
