Mahindra Lifespaces awards home at Happinest – Palghar for Re. 1 to winner of its #JoyfulHomecomings contest

Mumbai, April 26, 2018: Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (‘MLDL’), the real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra Group, has announced the winner of its #Joyful Homecomings ‘Home at Re. 1′ contest.  The contest was part of a campaign to bring to life Mahindra Lifespaces’ brand value proposition of ‘Joyful Homecomings’. The winner, Gurgaon resident Ms. Nidhi Chandna, is now the proud owner of an apartment at Happinest – Palghar: Mahindra Lifespaces’ latest affordable housing project, which has emerged as one of the fastest-selling projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

RBI Holds Repo Rate at 5.25%; Realty Industry Sees Stability as Growth Driver The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% and retain its ‘neutral’ monetary policy stance in the third bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of FY27 has elicited a measured response from the real estate industry. While the sector had hoped for a rate cut to further enhance home loan affordability and stimulate housing demand, industry leaders believe the RBI’s decision reflects a balanced approach amid elevated global uncertainties, volatile energy prices, and inflationary concerns. They noted that stable interest rates will continue to support buyer confidence, provide financial predictability for developers, and sustain the momentum witnessed in the residential real estate market.
