New Delhi, May 07, 2020: The government’s initiative to allow real estate players to partially resume construction projects is a positive move, as the real-estate sector is the second largest employer in India. We at Aparna Constructions and Estates Pvt Ltd have resumed operations from Monday across our projects in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. We taking all necessary precautions. We are segregating our project site operations into three different shifts to ensure less crowding at the sites and are providing all necessary provisions including vegetables, hand-washing soaps/liquid, sufficient water and uninterrupted power, as well as health monitoring and medical care, at construction sites. Apart from enforcing safety measures and cleanliness in our labour colonies, we are also continuously monitor the health of all workers and have a doctor stationed at the site. If any of our workers are found sick, including regular fever, we send them to the hospital by our ambulance. Furthermore, we are continuously educating housekeeping and staff about safety measures including frequent hand washing, social distancing and practicing good hygiene. We are providing a public announcement system that broadcasts coronavirus precautions and reminders constantly. If the situation doesn’t escalate further, we are hopeful that the sector will regain its previous momentum in about 3-5 months.
