Unitech inaugurated Night Golfing at its luxurious residential project in Noida

Unitech Golf & Country Club is the first golf course with night golfing facilities in Delhi and Noida

A night golf tournament was also organized

Unitech, India’s leading business group and an integrated developer of large-scale real estate projects, has inaugurated Night Golfing at Unitech Golf and Country Club, making it the first golf course offering night golfing facility in Delhi & Noida.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Saturday, September 22, 2012 with tee off on the flood lit course. Along with the inauguration, a night golf tournament was organized as well. Some of the attendees were Kapil Dev, Atul Wassan, Ajay Jadeja, Madan Lal, Vandana Luthra, Rajat Sharma and prominent corporate honchos from Delhi-NCR.

In the golf tournament 9 teams had participated. All the teams started the tournament together from nine different holes. The format of the tournament was a stroke- play. The longest drive was on hole-6 and nearest to the pin was on hole-5.

Commenting on the night golfing at Unitech Golf & Country Club, Noida Kapil Dev expressed, “Playing golf under the lights at the course of Unitech Golf & Country Club is all together a different experience. Night golf is the future of the country. Corporate, juniors and other avid individuals can now enjoy playing in the evening under the lights. This being the future of India , I feel every town will have the same setting for different sports.”
