The Guardians Launches Eco-Utsav Campaign to Honour the Green Ganesha Warriors

Mumbai, September 15, 2021: India’s leading real estate consultant, The Guardian Real Estate Advisory in its pursuit to protect the environment from further degradation and also to motivate people to celebrate this Ganesh Festival in a greener and safer manner has come with an innovative campaign The Guardians Eco-Utsav Contest 2021. The Contest will reward and honour those who are celebrating Ganesh Utsav in a sustainable way while encouraging people to adopt eco-friendly idols, sustainable decorations, and artificial immersions.

The One-Stop-Solution provider for the real estate sector has roped in leading Marathi Television Actress Jui Gadkari is the face of the campaign this year. The Guardians Eco-Utsav Contest 2021 will be open for all on the official Facebook and Instagram handles of The Guardians Real Estate Advisory.  The contestant can participate in any or all of the three categories namely Eco-Bappa, Eco-Friendly Decoration and Artificial Immersion and the best entries will be honored with amazing prizes on a daily basis.

While speaking on the campaign, Mr. Jayesh Rathod, Joint Managing Director  expressed Over 1.5 lakh Ganesh Idols are immersed in the Arabian Sea off the Mumbai coast every year, and the oxygen level in the sea falls by 50% causing irreparable damage to nature after the festival. So we have come up with this initiative to reinforce the necessity for environmental conservation and sustainability by urging people to adopt eco-friendly practices while celebrating the festival.” “We also want to honour and reward the people who are celebrating Ganesh Utsav in a sustainable manner,” he added.

With the passion of celebrating Ganesh festival, people generally forget the hazardous impact of the immersion of idols on the environment. The idols are made up of Plaster of Paris (POP), plastic, cement, and toxic paints that do not completely dissolve in water, which eventually leads to environmental pollution. The Guardians Real Estate Advisory through this campaign is encouraging people to celebrate this Ganesh Ustav in an eco-friendly manner.
