Spaces enters Mumbai’s co-working market with launch of first collaborative/co-working workspace in Andheri

The workspace is spread over 40,000 sq. ft. area and offersseating capacity of 500+ in one of the defining start-up hubs of India’s commercial capital

New Delhi, June 29, 2018: Spaces, the Amsterdam-born creative workspace provider part of IWG has announced opening of the first co-working space – Spaces Andheri in Mumbai, along with exciting expansion plans for Mumbai market. Situated in the prime location at Kanakia Wall Streetin Mumbai’s Andheri East district, Spaces Andheri is the perfect location forbusinesses and people interested in co-working workspaces. Spaces aims to redefine the way work is done and has cultivated a community of thinkers, achievers and imaginers worldwide.

Spread over an area of 40,000 sq. feet, the new co-working workspace will offer seating capacity for 500 plus people. With a distinct European flavour, the new Spaces will not just serve great coffee, but also be synonymous with a mixed community of people sporting both, suits and sneakers and representing businesses big and small alongside eclectic start-ups.  The new Spaces provides stimulating workspace environment with comfortable seating and large windows that allow in plenty of natural light. The state-of-the-art facility provides a relaxing environment with open spaces, well-equipped conference room and ainspirational Business Club, which is accessible by more than three million global Spaces’ members. Also, by being in Andheri, the new Spaces is located at a place which is well connected to infrastructure and other places which will be of use in daily life.

Spaces at Andheri will host a wide variety of co-working spaces, meeting rooms, private offices, conferencing facilities and event spaces offering creative working environments. Other than Spaces-hosted events for knowledge sharing and networking, members can also make use of the event spaces to host their own client events or product launches.

RBI Holds Repo Rate at 5.25%; Realty Industry Sees Stability as Growth Driver The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% and retain its ‘neutral’ monetary policy stance in the third bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of FY27 has elicited a measured response from the real estate industry. While the sector had hoped for a rate cut to further enhance home loan affordability and stimulate housing demand, industry leaders believe the RBI’s decision reflects a balanced approach amid elevated global uncertainties, volatile energy prices, and inflationary concerns. They noted that stable interest rates will continue to support buyer confidence, provide financial predictability for developers, and sustain the momentum witnessed in the residential real estate market.
