Baaya was found by Shibani Jain. She is an alumni of the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. She works with passion towards creating a distinctive platform for artisans of India, and to use their amazing skills towards fulfilling new challenges and markets. She feels that it is possible to innovate indigenous skills through good design and usage of new materials. She has over 15 years of experience, working with crafts and grass root artisans. She has traveled extensively in India and abroad and is very well exposed to interior design trends and possibilities.
