Residents at Eros wembley estate take oath to protect environment

Gurugram, December 02, 2017: With a motive to take a lead and promote green drive, the residents of Eros Wembley Estate Society located in  Sector 49, Gurugram, took part in the plantation drive and planted over 300 saplings. The main aim of this step was to promote the idea of  green and clean environment.  Residents belonging to all age groups came ahead and enthusiastically participated in the activity.  Plantation Drive was an effort against substantial climate change and sustainability challenges. People turned up as a  community of passionate tree planters  and contributed their efforts in promoting afforestation.

“It was heartening to see the participation of residents as they got aware of the importance of tree plantation. There are little activities that can create an impact in reducing  greenhouse gases and help the environment. People who are still unaware of negative effects of combustion and deforestation need to understand the gravity of harm that is caused on the environment.  Apart from  planting of the saplings, the most important thing is to ensure their maintenance and care.
