The false ceiling is an interior element that is below the actual ceiling of the room, the false ceiling can be made of various materials such as ply, wood, gypsum PVC and others. Ceiling work becomes important, as some rooms require certain settings to produce aesthetics and ceiling functions, as in opera houses where ceilings become one of the key aspects of sound quality.

Polyvinyl chloride has long been used by humans, especially as the main ingredient of water pipe manufacturers.PVC has an excess of fire resistance so it is considered suitable for use as a construction material so that it has been developed the use of PVC as a wall and ceiling. There are now many stores that provide different types of PVC ceiling, you can buy the ceiling and install it yourself, and also you can also ask for help of the contractor to install it at your house.

Calculating the Ceiling Area to work on :    You only need to calculate the area of the room to be installing the ceiling; the manufacturer will provide all the equipment and materials needed to complete a job. If you have a bedroom with a size of 4.00×4.00 meters then the area to be done is 16.00 m2, so you only need to make multiplication unit price per m2.

Installation is as almost same like done in gypsum board ceiling like framing is done and then PVC panel is installed and fitted with the help of screws which are not visible.

Reinstallation: Excellent choice for those who are planning to rent house or office and want to install false ceiling, because this product is detachable and you can reinstall it to another place. Wherein this is not possible in gypsum board ceiling.

Cost:- Rs.110/- to Rs.170/- per sq.ft (with labor & material)

Available sizes:-
Width – 10” & 12” (inches)
Length – 9ft, 10ft & 12ft (feet)

  3. Rust proof
  4. Detachable
  5. Light weight
  6. Fire retardant

PVC has many different advantages over other materials and types of plastic, but there are some inherent disadvantages and risks to using it in your home as well.

PVC is less dangerous in comparison not only with other types of plastic, but also with other ceiling materials. Many ceilings make use of asbestos coatings that are dangerous to the health of the people who live in the rooms with those ceilings; heavily plasticized PVC is less dangerous in many ways than those.

They are mass produced, meaning that they’re available through a wide variety of different distributors and in practically every color imaginable. PVC is easy to manipulate, meaning there’s no problem coming up with ceiling tiles that are perfect for your needs and design aspirations.

PVC ceiling tiles usually solve the problem of unhygienic ceilings since they are easy to clean. By providing a bright, durable and hygienic surface, they are effortlessly maintained. These easy to install tiles, lightweight, waterproof, termite-proof, and maintenance free. Being non-porous and non-absorbent, they can incorporate flush fitting, lighting, access hatches, air vents and sprinklers. They are available in various colours and can be painted and polished.
