Pidilite launches Dr. Fixit Experience Centre in Chennai

A unique Experience Centre for spearheading awareness and facilitating exploration, while adopting latest waterproofing solutions for influencers and users

New Delhi, Sept 30, 2015 :

Dr. Fixit from the house of Pidilite, the industry leader in Construction Chemicals, has launched Dr. Fixit Experience Centre in Chennai, the first of its kind Experience Centre to spread awareness and facilitate exploration, while adopting modern and latest waterproofing solutions for architects, builders and contractors. The Experience Centre was inaugurated by Mr. Madhukar B Parekh, Chairman – Pidilite Industries Ltd and it is the first of many that will eventually get created in focus towns forconstruction chemicals division.

Dr. Fixit Experience Centre is designed not only to showcase the range by surface area and innovations but it will also enhance the user experience by sharing visuals and demonstration for right application practices, end-to-end solutions, and bringing in global knowledge on waterproofing. The center will be propagated as a place where the construction fraternity can seek expert advice on waterproofing and get trained.

The launch was done over two days (22nd & 23rd September 2015). On the first day, it involved a Round Table Discussion involving architects, builders & PMCs. The discussion topic was ‘Evolution of waterproofing and limitations of conventional methods in an era of new construction practices.’ Thereafter the innauguration was, followed by a tour of the center and demonstration on table top mock ups.

The second day included the felicitation of long term partners such as contractors and applicators who were then invited to share their experiences about Dr. Fixit. And lastly, Academicians – Faculty Heads and Student Council bodies of Top 8 architectural colleges were invited to launch the Architect of the Year contest.
