Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC, said, “The company had been seriously considering setting up of such a centre in order to effectively address some demanding issues related to construction such as adoption of new technology, eco-friendly green building materials for sustainable, safe, faster, cost effective and quality construction.”
He added that the new centre would exclusively work in mitigation of building collapse problems emphasizing upon innovation, sustainable development, safety and productivity. The company has made an initial allocation of Rs. 2 crore for the purpose.
