NAR India concludes 7th Annual Convention held at Bangalore

Bangalore, Aug 24, 2015: NAR successfully concluded its seventh annualconvention that was inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Infrastructure Minister Roshan Baig, yesterday in the city. The conference received an overwhelming response from industry leaders and realty experts of national and international repute, who came together, to discuss crucial issues pertaining to the real estate industry facing India.

Harish Bijoor, a brand domain specialist who was present at the event on Day 2, while addressing the gathering said “NAR, through the last six conventions has emerged as a platform for many realtors to come together that has created a brand image that stands for trust.” He explained how the concept of brand is a perception, which makes or breaks a company or an association, in the minds of people. Stressing on the evolving consumer needs and profile,he emphasized the importance of relators now focusing on ‘Clean Practices’ and how the brick-mortar business model will continue to be of relevance to the buyers as there is a trust factor involved in doing real estate business and deals face to face.

The international panel that represented delegates from various nationalities including USA, South Korea, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Europe among others shared their views on the real estate opportunities that India and Bangalore in particular hold.

Upon receiving an over whelming response, Farook Mahmood, President, World Council of Brokers (FIABCI) & Chairman NAR-India 7th Annual Convention said, “We are thrilled by the overwhelming response the 7th convention received. It has been a very encouraging journey and we hope that we continue with the same rigor and passion in our coming conferences.”

The convention, which is the biggest realty congregation in India, saw a convergence of about 1200 delegates of different nationalities. The event was packed with engaging and enlightening activities such as educational programs, expositions, panel discussions, brain-storming sessions and cultural activities. CCI Newswire
