Mahindra Lifespaces appoints Parveen Mahtani as Chief Legal Officer

Mumbai, July 14, 2020: Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited, the real estate and infrastructure development arm of Mahindra Group, today announced that it has appointed Ms. Parveen Mahtani as Chief Legal Officer.  Parveen will oversee all legal and regulatory activities across Mahindra Lifespaces’ businesses, applying her extensive experience in due diligence, contract management, M&A, intellectual property rights and financial transactions.

Parveen is a seasoned legal expert with nearly 20 years of leadership experience spanning multiple industries. Prior to her appointment at Mahindra Lifespaces, Parveen was Head, Legal and Compliance at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd. and Tata Housing Development Co Ltd.  In her previous roles, Praveen has handled a wide portfolio of real estate projects across India, UK, Maldives and Sri Lanka.  She has also handled litigation across various courts, including the Supreme Court of India and high courts.  A Gold medallist in Law from University of Mumbai, Parveen is the recipient of multiple awards and accolades including ‘Women in Law Award for Exceptional Service in Law’ by Legal Era in 2020 and ‘Shining Star of Indian Legal Fraternity’ by the Corporate Counsel of India in 2019, among others.
