K Raheja Corp’s IT building at Whitefield, Bengaluru gets USGBC Gold LEED Rating

Mumbai, February 21, 2017: K Raheja Corp, India’s leading real estate developer has received the Gold Leadership in Environment and Energy design (LEED) certification from the US Green Building Council for its IT building at Whitefield, Bengaluru. The IT commercial building has achieved a total of 64 points on the basis of the following parameters – green measures like soil restoration, energy and water conservation methods comprising of low flow fixtures, rainwater harvesting, use of recycled water & water efficient landscaping along with local recycled construction materials, use of MERV13 filters for improved indoor air quality that have helped the project attain such high rating.
