IIID Collaborates With Top Organizations To Launch Sustainable Planet On Environment Day

New Delhi, June 05, 2020: World Environment Day is not just about saving our surroundings; it is also about being acutely aware of our responsibilities towards our planet.  

Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) makes this World Environment Day a strategic milestone by ushering collaborations with 5 eminent organizations like Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), Fire and Safety Association of India (FSAI), The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) and Indian Society of heating, refrigerating and air conditioning engineers (ISHRAE) in the country which focuses towards a sustainable world. This collaboration is going to be held through a web event on June 05, 2020, at 16.30 hrs with prominent speakers from the organizations. These special communities are coming together, not only for professional networking but also for giving back the noble profession, and society at large! 

The web event aims to explore and respond towards a sustainable planet through joint events, discussions, research programs and innovations. The event will witness renowned speakers like Jabeen L Zacharias, President, IIID, Vasudevan Suresh, National Chairman, IGBC, Suresh Menon, National President, FSAI, Gurmit Singh Arora, National President, IPA, Satish Magar, National President, CREDAI and Richie Mittal, National President, ISHRAE. The deliberations will focus on-  

What shared challenges do we face that needs our collaboration and commitment?

What conversations must we have to push conscientiously for a better tomorrow?

What shared wisdom and values can guide today’s design & related communities?

What dreams can we as Organizations share for our People and the Planet at large? 

Almost 1 Lakh members will be reached through all the 5 associations. This is going to be inspired on the day when in a WEB EVENT THEY SIGN THE MOU on Collaboration. This collaboration with various associations will result in working towards a shared goal, with a passion to add value, to existing systems and opportunities! 

The present situation caused due to COVID, has compelled us to introspect, that our resources are limited, and therefore pooling and sharing alone will optimise our productivity! In this new paradigm, it is a survival of the quickest to embrace change, and reinventing the new mantra for success!
