Bengaluru, May 24, 2016: Mr. Babu has wide experience in developing infrastructure projects on Public Private Partnership framework. Presently, he is heading the Environment arm (IEISL) of IL&FS Group.

IEISL has emerged as a leader in the Waste Management sector under his leadership. The Company is mandated to manage over 10000Tons per Day (TPD) of waste across the Country and is amongst the first to mainstream Carbon financing in Waste Management.IEISL is focused on building financially sustainable models in Waste processing. The IEISL team has in depth experience of working on Waste Management, Environmental Management, Green House Gas Mitigation, Resource Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Geo-spatial solutions.

Mr. Mahesh Babu is a Masters in International Economics and Relations from Johns Hopkins University (School of Advanced International Studies). He also holds an MBA from Xaviers’sLabour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, India.
