Housing.com launches owner connect services for home seekers; Branded as ‘Housing Premium’, the service recorded 25,000 subscribers in the pre-launch phase

The subscription offering will enable potential home seekers, both buyers, and tenants, to contact homeowners directly

National, August 16, 2022: With an aim to further simplify the home buying and renting journey, India’s leading online real estate portal Housing.com has formally launched  Housing Premium, a facility that allows buyers and tenants to directly connect with home owners – sellers or landlords. The offering has already seen strong consumer adoption in its pre-launch phase, the company said, and it is now looking to further expand its user base for the service.

Live for all Tier-I and Tier-II cities for both rent and resale segments, the Housing Premium offering helps home owners and home seekers save their valuable time besides helping them save big on brokerage charges.  The facility also offers instant alerts to subscribers in addition to dedicated relationship managers to handhold them through their home buying or renting  journey.

Valid for a period of 60 days, which is unique in its category, the Housing Premium service offers 3 options to subscribe – Basic, Premium and Assisted categories. Under the Basic offering, a user gets access to up to 10 home owner contacts. This number is 25 in the case of the Premium offering. In the Assisted offering, the user is free to contact an unlimited number of contacts on the Housing platform. In addition, the users will be assigned dedicated relationship managers to handhold them through the entire home buying or renting journey.

To make the offer more attractive to users, Housing.com allows users to directly get in touch with up to two home owner contacts without purchasing a Housing Premium  subscription. After being satisfied with the offering, the user can then opt for paid Housing Premium services. In case customers are  not satisfied with the services, they will have the option to claim a 100% refund of fees.

“At Housing.com we consistently endeavour to improve ourselves to remain the most beloved brand in the country. We strive to offer unique services, keeping superior consumer experience as our central goal. Housing Premium is another step in that direction. The initial consumer response to the service has been very encouraging and we hope to see this offering become a big differentiator for us in the future,” said Dhruv Agarwala, Group CEO, Housing.com, PropTiger.com & Makaan.com.

“A customer-centric offering, Housing Premium is a unique product in India’s housing market in the sense that it allows home seekers to do most of the property search-related legwork online, besides helping them have a one-on-one interaction with the home owner. In a transaction that could involve spending a person’s lifetime of savings, keeping it real and personal is of essence. This offering does exactly that,” said Sangeet Aggarwal, Head Product & Design, Housing.com, PropTiger.com & Makaan.com.

In the pre-launch phase, Housing.com has attracted more than 25,000 subscribers for Housing Premium.
