India’s leading online property portal expects participation from over 35 million people in this fully virtual event
National, February 24, 2022: India’s leading full-stack real estate platform Housing.com has announced the launch of the fifth edition of its annual mega home sales extravaganza, “Happy New Home-2022”.
To run between February 15 and March 31, 2022, the virtual event would see participation from over 350 real estate developers and more than 1,500 real estate brokers. The Gurgaon headquartered company expects participation from over 35 million potential home seekers at its annual gala event.
Slated to be one of the biggest events in terms of participation for the REA India owned company, the event would exhibit properties from across price segments in 21 cities in the country. In addition to tier-I markets of Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, MMR Region (Mumbai and adjoining areas), Pune, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, for the first time, the event will also cover developers and properties from seven Tier-II cities, including Lucknow, Jaipur, Nashik, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Coimbatore and Visakhapatnam.
To be conducted entirely online, the “Happy New Home-2022” would showcase an all-new event layout, based on the #Metaverse design theme, with focus on promoting videos and content-based offerings to homebuyers, ensuring safety, security and ease of home-buying.
While providing a contactless home-buying experience to its audience, the company has put on display a 3D virtual booth to offer users an immersive experience of a property kiosk.
“The inherent spirit behind this annual extravaganza has been to touch more and more lives with superior offerings in terms of housing choices. That is why each year, we strive to give our audience a bigger and better experience. With higher builder participation and coverage of a bigger number of cities, Happy New Home-2022 is expected to break all previous records we have made in the industry,” said Amit Masaldan, Business Head, Housing.com.
Housing.com is already running high-decibel marketing campaigns across TV, OTT and digital media alongside the event, touted to be the biggest such event within the industry, to market the event.
“Consumer activity in the industry is seen intensifying amid record low interest rates and supportive government policies. With the steady recovery in the economy post the second and third waves of COVID, property purchases are set to increase. The timing of our Happy New Home-2022 could not have been better,” said Mr. Masaldan.
India’s leading private lender, Kotak Mahindra Bank is the title sponsor for the event while Bank of India is also among the sponsors of the gala event.
Some of the major developers showcasing their upcoming projects in the gala event are G Square Housing, Casagrand Builder, Kalpataru and Merlin Group.
