The Golden Brick Awards 2019- 4th Edition

New Delhi, September 21, 2019: Phoenix  Expovent  in association with World Wide Federation for International Real Estate Investors organized  the 4th edition of The  Golden Brick Awards on September 12th, 2019 at the Hotel Marriott Al Jaddaf, Dubai. It is an initiative started with the vision to empower  and accolade the efforts and virtuosity of   real estate professionals, architects, interior designers, and developers.

The show was graced by the presence of His Excellency Suhail Mohammad Al Zarooni as the Chief Guest of Honor at the ceremony. The show also registered the presence of Ms. Nicole Rodrigues- Founder & CEO of Diva Group of Companies, Dubai, Mr. Roy Fernandes- Goodwill Ambassador of United Nations, and Ms.

Madiha Salem- Director of Research & Development at Trakhees, Dubai.

The ceremony started with a panel discussion by notable speakers like Mr. Joe Durkin (Head at Durkin & Co s Litigation & Arbitration Practice) & Mr. Sarfraz Dairkee (Secretary to the Board of the Emirates Green Building Council) etc. followed by the felicitation ceremony for National & Regional Level winners from the Indian Real

Estate & Infrastructure Industry.

RBI Holds Repo Rate at 5.25%; Realty Industry Sees Stability as Growth Driver The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% and retain its ‘neutral’ monetary policy stance in the third bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of FY27 has elicited a measured response from the real estate industry. While the sector had hoped for a rate cut to further enhance home loan affordability and stimulate housing demand, industry leaders believe the RBI’s decision reflects a balanced approach amid elevated global uncertainties, volatile energy prices, and inflationary concerns. They noted that stable interest rates will continue to support buyer confidence, provide financial predictability for developers, and sustain the momentum witnessed in the residential real estate market. Mr. Kamlesh Thakur, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra “The RBI’s decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% while retaining a neutral stance reflects a prudent approach amid global uncertainties and evolving inflation dynamics. While the industry was hopeful of a rate cut, policy stability itself provides confidence to both developers and homebuyers. With borrowing costs remaining unchanged, housing demand is expected to continue its momentum, particularly in the mid-income and premium segments. The upward revision of India’s GDP growth projection to 6.7% underscores the resilience of the domestic economy.
