Godrej Properties wins Three Prestigious Awards

The Mumbai-based real estate developer wins awards for its residential and commercial projects at the CNBC AWAAZ Real Estate Awards 2012 Godrej Properties Ltd. (BSE scrip id: GODREJPRP) the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group, won three awards at the CNBC AWAAZ REAL ESTATE AWARDS 2012 ceremony held in Mumbai on 22 nd December. The Company received awards for its projects Godrej Garden City, Godrej Prakriti and Godrej  Waterside. Godrej Garden City, a township project at Ahmedabad, won award for the ‘Best Residential Project’ in Ahmedabad, in mid-segment category of projects that are 70% complete.

Godrej Prakriti, a residential development at Kolkata, won award for the ‘Best Residential Project’  in Kolkata, in the mid-segment category of projects that are 70% complete. Godrej Waterside, an IT Park located in Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata, won award of  the ‘Best Commercial Property’ in Kolkata. Godrej Garden City (GGC) is conveniently located in the heart of Ahmedabad, just off SG Highway. GGC proposes to house over 13,000 apartments and villas once completed. The master plan of GGC has been created by world-renowned architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). GGC is one of two projects in India and amongst only 17 worldwide to be chosen as a partner by The Clinton Climate Initiative with the goal of achieving a climate positive development. Spread over approximately 22 acres of lush greenery, Godrej Prakriti offers all the comforts and conveniences of modern, urban living, infused with nature-made tranquility. The property comprises a thoughtful mix of 2 BHK, 2 BHK with study and 3 BHK apartments.

Conceived as a world class IT Park,  Godrej Waterside meets international standards for commercial real estate and is a LEED Gold Certified Building. Spread over 5.60 acres, the project has a saleable area of 1.85 mn sq. ft. The Award function was presided over by Mr. Ajay Maken, Hon. Minister, Housing and Poverty Alleviation, Government of India.

The elite awards identified and honoured projects that created marvels in the real estate industry. The awards evaluated not only the financial performance of a firm but also projects that have delivered on the standards of quality, customer satisfaction and efficiency. The Jury selected city-wise winning projects from a total of around 8,000 nominations. Liases Foras was the Research Partner. Mr. K. T.
