Mumbai, September 17, 2026: Ganpati Group, a diversified real estate and hospitality conglomerate, today announced an overall investment and development potential of approximately ₹2,000 crore across its upcoming residential real estate and hospitality portfolio.
The announcement marks a significant step in the Group’s expansion strategy, which includes its first entry into South India through a hospitality project in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). The Group is primarily targeting Tier-1 cities, state capitals, metropolitan cities and other high-growth urban markets across India, evaluating locations on the strength of their economic fundamentals, infrastructure development, tourism potential and business activity. In the immediate term, Lucknow and Visakhapatnam form the core of this expansion drive.
Expansion in Lucknow
In Lucknow, the Group’s upcoming pipeline includes an ultra-luxury residential project in Vibhuti Khand, one of the city’s most prominent and premium locations, alongside an approximately 200-key premium hotel in the city. Together, the two projects reflect Ganpati Group’s continued commitment to the city as a core growth market within its residential and hospitality portfolio.
Entry into South India
Ganpati Group will also develop an approximately 100-room business hotel in Visakhapatnam marking the Group’s entry into South India. The Group identified Visakhapatnam as a strategically important growth market on account of its strong port-led economy, expanding industrial ecosystem, tourism potential and rapidly developing infrastructure.
On the expansion occasion, Nikhil Agrawal, Managing Director, Ganpati Group said “India’s urban growth is creating a new opportunity in real estate and hospitality, that is increasingly defined by quality, connectivity and the strength of the underlying economy. Our ₹2,000 crore expansion is a step towards building a more diversified, pan-India platform across residential and hospitality. With Lucknow and our entry into Visakhapatnam, we are positioning Ganpati Group in markets where long-term economic growth can translate into enduring real estate demand. Our ambition is to build assets that remain relevant not just for the next cycle, but for the next decade.”
Growth Strategy for the Next 3–5 Years
Over the next three to five years, Ganpati Group aims to add approximately 800–1,000 hotel room keys to its hospitality portfolio, while continuing to develop residential and commercial real estate projects across strategic markets in India. The Group’s development focus spans premium residential offerings as well as projects catering to the mid-scale and upper-mid-scale segments, with the broader objective of building a geographically diversified portfolio across high-growth business and tourism destinations.
