Emaar MGF Commemorates ‘World Quality Day’

Emaar MGF Land Ltd, the leading real estate developer in India, today celebrated ‘World Quality Day’ at its project sites and Gurgaon Business Park office.

The theme for this year’s World Quality Day is ‘Building a Quality World Together’ which focuses on the impact made by the quality professionals for creating superior organizations as well as a better world.

On this occasion, the Company organized quality awareness presentations at project sites, along with an organization-wide quiz competition. Employees were also encouraged to suggest ways for improving construction quality on site with minimal or no cost impact. Prizes were given to quiz winners and best suggestions, while most quality-conscious site staff were also identified and awarded.

The concept of celebrating ‘World Quality Day’ was introduced by the United Nations in 1990, to increase worldwide awareness about the contribution made by Quality for the growth and prosperity of a nation and an organization. The international event is celebrated every year on the second Thursday of November.
