One of the World’s Tallest and Fastest Twisting Towers near Completion
New Delhi, October 15, 2016: CTBUH (Council of Tall Building and Urban Habitat), Chicago, USA, recognized ‘Spira’ Tower as the first and only twisting tower in India. The formal recognition was made by CTBUH in their Journal Issue III, 2016. The Spira tower is a part of Supertech’s Supernova mixed use development located in sector 94, Noida. Construction of Spira, which will stand at a height of 300 metres, having 80 floors, will be ready for delivery by Dec 2017.
The Spira Tower with an average floor rotation of 1.825o and a total rotation of 146o occupies 6th position in the global list of twisting towers ranked in order of height. It also holds record for the fastest twisting tower in the world. The Spira tower now holds the unique feat of being India’s tallest mixed use development and the first and only twisted tower in India.
Spira is not just one of India’s tallest buildings but is also one of the world’s greatest superstructures. This Iconic Tower has high-end luxurious residences, 5-star hotel and Spira Suites (area 595 sq. ft.), topped off by a world class restaurant and bar, which boosts a bird’s eye view over the surrounding waterways of Yamuna. The tower also has a Helipad, an Observatory deck, an Exclusive club house, and automated elevators. Spira is one building out of five of Supernova. Total development of project is 6 million sq.ft. which includes office tower of 1.0 million, 2.0 million high end apartments,0.50 million one five star hotel with branded residences and balance area of retail with luxury brand and corporate area of 5000 cars within premises. Supernova is well connected with adjoining Metro stations.
