Bhumika Group partners with Shoppers Stop Ltd. at Urban Square, Udaipur

With 20,331 Sq Ft. Carpet Area Shoppers Stop marks one of the largest department store chain entry in Udaipur. 

New Delhi, July 20, 2019: Bhumika Group has signed an agreement with Shoppers Stop Ltd., one of India’s largest chain of Department Store for its Mall Urban Square at Udaipur. Shoppers Stop has 83 stores across 38 cities in India, with clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, jewellery, fragrances, cosmetics, health & beauty products, home furnishing and decor products. Spread over the Ground Floor and Upper Ground Floor measuring a total Carpet Area of  20,331 Sq Ft., Shoppers Stop at Urban Square will be the first store in the city and is expected to be operational by 2021.

Shoppers Stop will be one of the biggest attractions and an integral part of the upcoming “Urban Square”, an integrated Hospitality, Retail and Family Entertainment destination at Udaipur. The store will offer more than 1 Lakh + Styles and exclusive brands to choose from.

RBI Holds Repo Rate at 5.25%; Realty Industry Sees Stability as Growth Driver The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% and retain its ‘neutral’ monetary policy stance in the third bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of FY27 has elicited a measured response from the real estate industry. While the sector had hoped for a rate cut to further enhance home loan affordability and stimulate housing demand, industry leaders believe the RBI’s decision reflects a balanced approach amid elevated global uncertainties, volatile energy prices, and inflationary concerns. They noted that stable interest rates will continue to support buyer confidence, provide financial predictability for developers, and sustain the momentum witnessed in the residential real estate market.
