Aparna Constructions and Estates Private Limited contributes INR 5 crores for the battle against COVID 19

~ Donated Rs. 2 Crores to Prime Minister’s Care Fund, Rs. 2 Crores to Telangana CM Relief Fund and Rs. 1 Crore to Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund~

National, April 06, 2020: Extending their support towards the fight against COVID-19, Aparna Constructions and Estates Private Limited, one of the leading real estate players in South India, has donated INR 5 crores to the relief efforts by the Government. Aparna Constructions today donated INR 2 Crore to Prime Minister’s Care Fund. Last week, the company had also contributed INR 2 Crores to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and INR 1 Crore to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. 

Commenting on the initiative, Mr Rakesh Reddy, Director, Aparna Constructions said, “The Corona Virus outbreak has created an unparalleled situation. It has impacted many lives in multiple ways. Containing the spread of the virus will require active participation and mobilization of resources from all quarters. At Aparna Constructions, we have always aligned our efforts towards the larger well-being of the society. This donation is an extension of this deep belief of ours.”

“At Aparna, we are taking all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus among our residents and employees, as well as ease the impact of the lockdown. We are providing all necessary provisions at our projects including vegetables, hand-washing soaps/liquid, sufficient water and uninterrupted power. We are continuously educating residents, housekeeping and staff about safety measures including frequent hand washing, social distancing and practicing good hygiene. We provide a public announcement system that broadcasts Corona Virus precautions and reminders. Along with enforcing safety measures and cleanliness in our labour colonies, we continuously monitor the health of all workers and arrange regular visits by a doctor. If any of our workers are found sick, including regular fever, we send them to the hospital by our ambulance,” added Mr. Reddy.

Through their CSR arm, Aparna Novel Society for Education and Research (ANSWER), the company has undertaken many community driven initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of underprivileged children as well as senior citizens.
