New Delhi, June 05, 2026: The much-awaited autobiographical work “A Life in Many Frames – Walking Through Fire: Fragments of Time”, authored by Khazi Altaf Hussain, was formally released at an inspiring and dignified ceremony held at Khwaja Hall, Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi, in the gracious presence of eminent spiritual, academic, and public personalities.
The book was released by Hazrat Khwaja Syed Mohammed Shaafi Nizami Sahib, Sajjada Nasheen of the Dargah Hazrat Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya Mehboob-e-Elahi (RA), and Padma Shri Prof. Akhtarul Wasey, distinguished scholar, educationist, author, and public intellectual.
The occasion was attended by distinguished guests, intellectuals, community leaders, professionals, friends, admirers, and members of the literary fraternity who gathered to celebrate a life journey marked by perseverance, public service, professional leadership, social commitment, and spiritual reflection.
Speaking on the occasion, Khazi Altaf Hussain observed that every educated person carries within himself or herself a unique library of experiences—successes, failures, struggles, disappointments, lessons, and achievements. Unless these experiences are documented and shared, they are often lost with time. The book, he said, is an effort to preserve those experiences and make them available to younger generations as a source of learning, inspiration, and reflection.
Spread across a rich collection of personal narratives, professional experiences, public engagements, humanitarian interventions, and photographic memories, the book chronicles a remarkable journey through the corridors of industry, media, community service, institution building, crisis management, and personal challenges.
The work captures significant milestones from the author’s association with leading national institutions, corporate leadership roles, disaster relief efforts, educational initiatives, healthcare projects, media ventures, and community development programmes. It also reflects upon the enduring values of integrity, resilience, compassion, inclusiveness, and service.
Addressing the gathering, the distinguished speakers appreciated the author’s decision to document a lifetime of experiences and emphasised the importance of preserving individual journeys for future generations. They noted that such works serve not merely as personal memoirs but also as valuable social and historical records.
The release ceremony concluded with expressions of gratitude to the distinguished guests, organisers, well-wishers, and all those who contributed directly or indirectly to the completion of the book.
“A Life in Many Frames – Walking Through Fire: Fragments of Time” is a reflective journey through leadership, institutions, public life, human relationships, professional experiences, personal trials, and the values that continue to shape a meaningful life.
