Adrija Agarwal currently serves as the Founder of Sattva Ventures, a testament to her enterprising spirit and vision. Commencing her journey in 2019, she built Sattva Ventures from the ground up, solidifying its position as a key player under the Sattva umbrella. With unwavering determination, she has steered the venture towards success, embodying the essence of entrepreneurship and leadership.

Embarking on a strategic diversification initiative, Adrija astutely allocated $100 million across public and private markets, carefully considering diverse risk profiles to ensure sustained profit generation. This transformative journey has positioned Sattva Ventures as a recognized force, securing its place among the top 50 family offices in India, by Inc 42.

Demonstrating her prowess in the real estate sector, Adrija has been instrumental in converting a 48-acre land parcel into a 294-key, 5-star luxury resort property. This project showcases India’s largest banquet and offers branded villas for sale, a collaborative endeavor with the renowned Taj Group.

As a visionary leader, she has made substantial contributions in the hospitality sector through two pioneering initiatives, Quorum and d150. These ventures have significantly enriched the socio-cultural landscape by introducing premium meeting spaces, event venues, and a diverse array of dining options. What sets these achievements apart is her strategic partnership with the esteemed Blackstone group, culminating in a remarkable transformation of Knowledge City, Hyderabad into a destination. In this pursuit, Adrija has not only extended the reach of her organization but has also made an enduring impact on the rich fabric of Knowledge City’s socio-cultural landscape.

Adrija’s portfolio also includes successful acquisitions and expansions, such as the rapid growth of Simpliwork into a colossal 4 million sq. ft. co-working space with Google as its largest tenant, as well as the expansion of Colive, a co-living company, from 1500 to 18,000 beds in four Indian cities

Adrija is actively involved in preparing for the listing of Sattva REIT in 2024, poised to become India’s largest commercial REIT, covering around 40 million sqft. Furthermore, she has her sights set on expanding Sattva’s presence in Mumbai’s mature real estate market, both in residential and commercial projects.

With a robust background in management consulting at Bain & Company and an early stint at The Blackstone in Hong Kong, Adrija’s strategic acumen is further fortified by her education, which includes an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Master’s in Management from London Business School, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering cum laude from Cornell University.

Beyond her professional achievements, Adrija is a passionate philanthropist, having raised funds for the Cuddles Foundation through the Sattva Foundation, and is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Bangalore Chapter, since 2019. Her excellence in the real estate industry earned her recognition as India’s Next Gen Real Estate Rising Star by Hurun India in August 2023.

Adrija’s diverse interests include trained classical dance, squash, skiing, and scuba diving, rounding out her versatile personality.
