Sumadhura Group receives ‘CSR Initiative of The Year 2019’ at ET Now awards
The company’s ‘Waste-to-Energy’ drive mitigated 3500 tons of carbon dioxide from 475 tons of waste
Kolkata, February 20, 2019: Sumadhura Group, one of South India’s leading realty majors has received the ‘CSR Initiative of The Year by a Real Estate Firm‘ award at the recently concluded ET Now Real Estate Awards, in Mumbai. The award recognizes Sumadhura’s eminent contribution towards changing the society in a meaningful and sustainable way. The selection process was based on several crucial factors, which included on-ground performance of the CSR project and its impact, quality, and project status.

Sumadhura Group has been organizing the major ‘Waste-to-Energy’ drive near 8000 tons of carbon dioxide emission every year in Bengaluru. Also, the company has taken the pledge to eliminate waste entirely from their operations and committed to reduce, reuse and recycle; encouraging their staff as well as their residential communities to follow suit and be more responsible citizens.
