B.G Shirke Construction Technology Chooses Tekla’s BIM Software


B.G Shirke Construction Technology, the largest precast concrete company in India, has chosen Tekla as building information modelling (BIM) technology partner and software provider. The technology partnership aims at providing better infrastructure to the society by switching over to unified automated solution in precast design and construction on mass scale.

The goal of the technology partnership is to design and execute even more highly detailed precast structures. This endeavour will result in better and modernised buildings by synchronizing activities from the designing of the project till execution thereby avoiding and time overruns.

Our objective right from the beginning has been to modernize Civil Engineering workflow with more automation. With help of Tekla BIM software we can make our building processes more effective and manage the risk of unforeseen costs and loss of time, says Mr. Yogesh Kajale, VP, Planning and Design, B.G. Tekla’s BIM software enables us to integrate design and detailing with manufacturing, project management and efficient information sharing, which helps us to minimize manual work and errors. This is important as today all structures need to be modularly planned and erected speedily.
